|Title:||Human Resources Assistant|
The Human Resources Assistant will support the HR department with varied administrative functions which will involve tasks such as: data entry of personnel actions, coordinating HR requisitions, compliance reporting, file maintenance, act as a resource to employees on matters of benefits, monitor the performance appraisal system, and assists with worker's compensation claims. Assists with recruitment, application processing, credentialing/backgrounds, new employee onboarding and orientation, and various employee-relations events. This position ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Reports directly to the HR Director and will assist with various projects as assigned. Will work closely with the Busienss Office to ensure accurate payroll, billing reconciliation, and benefit transactions. This position must maintain a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Qualification (Education & Experience)
High School Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 1-2 years of full-time work experience and/or education in a Human Resource management field preferred. May hold an Associate Degree in a business discipline or equivalent with at least 3 years of administrative support experience. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills is key, as are knowledge and understanding of HRIS systems. Must be proficient in computer software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to multi-task, have excellent organizational and planning skills, and be a good communicator. This position requires an enthusiastic, high energy, friendly personality with a drive towards results and project management skills. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be an insurable driver.
